Mom would tell me I was “husky” not fat.  Other kids growing up were a little less circumspect.  In hindsight, their honesty could not have given me more clarity and direction on who and what I aspired to be.

Exercise has given me a sense of purpose for as long as I can remember.  I am a product of childhood coaches that influenced me to revolutionize myself through hard work and perseverance.  My passion for CrossFit exceeds far beyond my personal aspirations, it’s about encouraging others to live a better life.

Certification: CrossFit Level 1

I found CrossFit around two years ago by chance and I was hooked after my first workout. CrossFit provided me with a new and exciting way to get in shape and prepare myself better for jiu-jitsu competitions. Since then, coaching my athletes has become my passion. More than anything else CrossFit has become an extension of my family. I enjoy the chance I’m given to help my athletes find improved health and fitness levels, but mostly I look forward to just getting to be around an incredible community.

Athletic History: I has spent a good deal of my childhood backpacking in the woods. In college I joined the rowing team and found my way to Crossfit in an effort to get fast. I’ve been doing it regularly for 1.5 years. I particularly enjoy the Power and Olympic Lifts. I love helping clients achieve their goals.
